Are you looking for an opportunity to give back to your community and make a difference in the lives of others? Join us at the CHRSC Community Garden or our After School Programs! Our mission is to "Teach, Feed, Succeed" and we are looking for passionate individuals who share our vision of building a better future for everyone.
Yesterday
Over the years we have accomplished so much and look forward to accomplishing more with your help. We have provided fresh fruits and vegetables for food banks and hunger programs, served thousands of people, and hosted volunteer opportunities for local groups like the Lions Club and Boy and Girl Scouts. We have also had the pleasure of working with out-of-state mission groups and engineering students who are helping us improve our irrigation system.
Today
Our after-school program serves more than 60 thriving students. Our garden model has been studied by students from local and out-of-state Universities. We have distributed more than 100,000 lbs of food through our Food Share program. We were proud to see 10 out of 11 paid interns complete and excel in the summer program!
Tomorrow
Our program is expanding, and we need your help! By volunteering with us, you will not only contribute to the betterment of our community but also learn valuable skills and connect with like-minded individuals.
